NYT Facial Recognition Article | ILLUSTRATION
In November 2020 I was given a unique opportunity to collaborate with the New York Times on a project concerning the use of facial recognition software by police departments. As the commissioned artist, I was responsible for creating an original 3D motion illustration that would accompany an article on the topic.
I remember it was a really quick turn around. I used a 3D scan of my own head and Autodesk softwares, Meshmixer and Maya.
